Exploration and Achievement
We have had incredibly active and inspiring weeks at our school! From our youngest learners discovering new worlds to our upper grades demonstrating their academic growth, there is much to celebrate.
Adventure at "Second Story and Beyond"
Our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) classes recently enjoyed a fantastic field trip to the Randall Lewis Second Story and Beyond in Rancho Cucamonga. All three classes, accompanied by their dedicated teachers and a wonderful group of parent chaperones, enjoyed the excitement of the bus ride and the magic of the museum’s interactive exhibits.
We believe that learning through play and exploration is vital for early development. By engaging with these curated exhibits, our students are building essential skills, including problem-solving, critical thinking and creativity and Socialization
A huge thank you to our parent volunteers for helping make this hands-on learning experience possible!
Showcasing Growth: CAASPP Testing
This week marked the beginning of state testing for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students. Our Dragon Scholars have officially started the CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress). Currently, students kicked off the week with Math. We will transition to English Language Arts (ELA) next week and then our oldest Dragons will conclude their testing window with the science assessment following ELA.
After a full year of exploration and hard work, this is a special opportunity for students to show what they know. These results are not just about scores; they help us evaluate our successes and determine where to focus our instructional actions for the next school year.
We are so proud of the focus and effort our students are displaying. Keep up the great work!
